About me

My husband, Kent, and I met and were married in Denver. That was many years ago; and since then, his profession has taken us to Texas, California, Massachusetts, Ohio and New Mexico. All wonderful places. I worked full-time in marketing prior to having children. I was a stay-at-home mom while the kids were at home, and for the last 14 years in Albuquerque, owned the Foot Solutions franchise. We moved to Castle Rock in July to be closer to family.

Getting into Comfort Footwear

Having a business was something I had thought about but hadn’t pursued while the kids were at home. When we were moving from Cincinnati to Albuquerque, our youngest was in college and the time was right to do some research. I worked with a company that helped me identify a business that was a good fit for my skill set and found Foot Solutions — and when I heard it was a business built on customer service, I knew it was the right business for me. What I didn’t know was the joy this business would give me. It’s very rewarding to help people every day.

Opening a New Business

Foot Health with Fashion is a unique comfort footwear and arch support business offering help to individuals who suffer from foot pain and/or hard-to-fit feet. I have had success helping alleviate pain caused by plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuroma, bunions, etc. Knee, hip and back pain can often be helped with supportive footwear. I work by appointment (which are complimentary) — come in, sit down, and explore the products that can help you lead a more comfortable and active lifestyle.

Just because the products provide comfort doesn’t mean they have to be ugly. There are comfort casual shoes, sandals, athletic footwear, plus several over-the-counter arch supports and also custom arch supports.

Foot Health with Fashion is located at One Oakwood Park, Suite 201 (about one-fourth mile east of downtown Castle Rock on Fifth Street). Call 720-531-3533 to schedule your complimentary appointment.

My Favorite Activity

When I’m not at the office, you’ll find me on my bicycle. My love of riding started when I signed up for a century (100 miles in one day) in Death Valley to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. My husband and I have participated in the event three times. Most of our vacations include bike riding, including trips to Italy biking in Tuscany and Umbria.

My Advice

Keep moving. If you stop — you might not be able to start again.
