Elect Kellner district attorney

For months, the news has been about America’s cities burning and violent protesters destroying storefronts, trashing minority neighborhoods and businesses, and defacing buildings with hateful slogans. Now the radical mob is invading communities, actually threatening elected lawmakers in their homes in Aurora and elsewhere. They are swarming restaurants, screaming at terrified diners, spitting in their food, and overturning tables.

If we think that can’t happen here, we are seriously deluded. We need to elect law and order champion John Kellner district attorney in the 18th Judicial (Douglas, Arapahoe, Elbert and Lincoln counties.) When current DA George Brauchler took office in 2012, he asked Kellner to tackle high-profile homicide cases. Since then, Chief Deputy District Attorney Kellner and his team have prosecuted thousands of cases in the four counties. A Marine Corps captain and deputy judge advocate in Afghanistan, he helped develop rule of law in terrorist-dominated areas. A veteran, he became a founding member of the Veterans Treatment Court to help vets through the justice system.

We citizens are often puzzled why victims like the St. Louis couple who stood armed on their front lawn defending their lives and home are prosecuted, not the rioting mobs threatening them. The reason: the left has been very successful in massively funding and electing liberal DAs across the country. These district attorneys favor criminals over victims, often setting them free with no bail, if they are even arrested at all. We can trust John Kellner to keep our communities safe.
