On Nov. 7, citizens of Castle Rock can keep Castle Rock good and great, by voting no to changing our time tested city charter. To vote any other way will destroy the values, integrity and unity of our city.
Castle Rock is unique for a reason. Our forefathers designed our charter to forever keep Castle Rock unique. Why would anyone want to change our governmental foundation to sand, when our foundation is rock solid?
Who better to be elected mayor, than one who serves on the most knowledgeable body in our community? Why give opportunity to allow Washington, D.C., patronage, cronyism politics to have a presence in Castle Rock?
A weak mayor system, coupled with an excellent city manager makes for good business.
I like living in one of the safest city's America, don't you? I like living in a city where the economy is flourishing, don't you? I like an honest, open mayoral system with checks and balances, don't you?
This is that one time, where change will bring disaster.Save our city, vote no, and save our charter.
