Letter: More of the same

Nothing quite admits the failure of an agenda than seeing those who previously supported it, distancing themselves from it right before an election.  

Deb Scheffel publicly endorsed the "reform-minded" candidates for school board in both 2013 and 2015. None of the three reform-minded incumbents eligible for a second term have indicated they're planning to run again. Don't be fooled. This slate is more of the same.  

To end the failing reforms, we must elect individuals who will return the focus of the district to the kids. Two have announced their campaigns, Kevin Leung and Krista Holtzmann. Hopefully, two more child-focused individuals will announce their candidacies soon.
