In December 2010, Town Council voted to endorse a homebuilder
incentive program for 2011 and beyond.
The program is designed to encourage homebuilding activity,
which would benefit both the builders and the Town.
To qualify, the homebuilder must submit and pay all fees on 80
or more single family permits during the year. Once this is met,
the builder qualifies for $550 in use tax rebates per home for up
to 120 homes. The rebates are then distributed by March 1 of the

"We're continually looking at ways to boost Castle Rock's
economy," said Charles Montoya, finance director. "We want to
create an environment or an incentive that drives more companies to
do business here."
