Food, music and good company kick off summer

Posted

Food trucks and tents lined Coyote Ridge Park in Castle Pines on June 3 as the community turned out for a “Food Truck Frenzy” event that celebrated the start to summer in Castle Pines. Live music entertained those standing in lines for food and those picnicking in the park. From street tacos to crepes, to pizza and ice cream, there was something to satisfy every appetite. For Ilana and Maddie Bove, mother and daughter, the event served up just what it aimed to — good food, great company and a kickoff to the season.

“Just kind of getting together,” Ilana said, “and celebrating the summer.”
