A Douglas County woman reported missing by her family was found hours after the sheriff’s office issued a missing person alert.
Lisa Christine Coletti, 38, of Highlands Ranch, was reported missing Jan. 24 by family members who did not know if she was on foot or in a particular vehicle. Coletti is the victim in an attempted homicide case out of Adams County and often travels by taxi, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
On Feb. 1 the sheriff’s office issued an alert seeking the public’s help in locating Coletti. A few hours later, the alert was called off when Coletti was found. The sheriff’s office did not release details about Coletti’s whereabouts, either during her absence or upon her return.
“As far as I know this is the first time she’s been reported missing,” said Cocha Heyden, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.
